Projects

For more than ten years, Schools for Children of the World (SCW) has been committed to improving educational opportunities in under-developed countries by working with local communities to develop quality school facilities.  Our goal is to help community members design and build a school, empowering them to use the experience to make further improvements to their community and the surrounding region.  The communities we work with generally provide the land, volunteer labor, and local materials.  We contribute planning and design assistance along with financial support for materials and an experienced contractor.

To date, we have completed the building and renovation of more than 75 schools.  SCW currently operates in three major regions around the world. Central and South America, Africa and Haiti. Please use the map to explore our many projects that we have worked on or are currently in progress.
