SCW has taken on several projects beyond school buildings over the years. Below is a description of the projects we have completed.

Honduras Abbreviated School Design Guidelines
After the completion of the Honduras School Facility Master Plan, design guidelines were needed to help the government and other organizations working in Honduras understand how to implement the plan by building adequate and appropriate schools. The Abbreviated Guidelines were adopted as law by the Congress of Honduras in November 2004.

Honduras School Facility Master Plan - 2004
In February 2003, talks began about the need to create a master plan to guide Honduras through school facility improvements. The Honduras Ministry of Education knew that their facilities were, in general, old, outdated, and in need of renovation. But the didn't much else about the school in which their students were learning. Before setting out to renovate or replace schools, they realized they would need a plan to make sure they are using their resources most effectively. In July 2003, the Honduras School Facility Master Plan got underway, but many obstacles and surprises were on the horizon.
