For nearly twenty years, Schools for Children of the World (SCW) has been committed to improving educational opportunities in under-developed countries by working with local communities to develop quality school facilities.  Our goal is to help community members design and build a school, empowering them to make further improvements to their community and the surrounding region.  The communities we work with generally provide the land, volunteer labor, and local materials.  We contribute planning and design assistance along with financial support for materials and an experienced contractor.

To date, we have completed the building and renovation of more than 125 schools.  SCW currently operates in three regions around the world. Central America, Africa, and the Caribbean.  Use the map to explore our projects!
