SCW has been taking groups of volunteers to Honduras twice a year since its first trip in 1997. These groups are made up of educational planners, architects, engineers, high school and college students, teachers, parents, and any other person who has a desire to improve education in developing countries. The links to the left provide more information and photos about past education team trips to Honduras.
Cost of Trip
$1350
The trips are taken, usually, during the second week of February and July, and span seven days, Saturday through Saturday. So far, all the team trips have gone to Honduras, and the lodging, food, and transportation has been organized through Heart to Honduras. Trip members stay in cabins located the Heart to Honduras complex in Canchias, Honduras. Breakfasts and dinners are eaten at the complex, while lunch is usually packed for the team by Heart to Honduras and eaten on the job site.
